about us

Our Mission

At the heart of our practice is a mission: to provide compassionate, client-centred counselling that is grounded in neuroscience, guided by Christian values, and shaped by genuine care.

We are a husband-and-wife team offering professional psychology and counselling services, dedicated to walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, pursue healing, and rediscover hope. With a strong foundation in integrity, empathy, and evidence-based practice, we create a safe and respectful space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.

While our areas of focus include narcissistic abuse recovery and faith-integrated counselling, our practice also brings  training in trauma. Together, we are equipped to support a wide range of mental health concerns—from anxiety and depression to grief, relationship difficulties, and alcohol and other drug-related challenges. Whatever your story may be, we are here to walk with you toward clarity, healing, and renewed strength.

Our approach is both holistic and trauma-informed, caring for the whole person – mind, body, and soul. We believe that meaningful, lasting change happens when all aspects of a person’s well-being are attended to. This reflects the triune nature of our design and the belief that each individual is deeply valued and uniquely created.

Whether you’re processing past pain, exploring questions of faith, or simply seeking support through a difficult season, we offer a space where your journey is respected and your growth is supported with wisdom, grace, and clinical expertise.

our approach

Start Where You Are

A warm, thoughtful intake and assessment process that helps us understand your challenges, goals, and values. We listen not just for your story but also to the patterns beneath it.

Choose your pathway to wellness

A tailored plan with practical strategies, priority areas, and step-by-step guidance. Think of it as your compass for growth and healing. or option two use traditional methods of counselling.

Work the Plan, Together

That might include learning new ways to regulate emotions, interrupting unhelpful patterns, or making small, sustainable shifts in how you relate to yourself and others.

Review, Reflect, Realign

This stage is about reflecting on progress, recognising what’s working, and refining the plan where needed. It’s a chance to consolidate growth, build confidence, and strengthen the tools that support ongoing change.

Andrew Vines

Psychologist

With over 14 years of experience, I offer compassionate, specialised, evidence-based support to recover from: the impact of narcissistic abuse and domestic/family violence, addictions and unhealthy coping, grief, trauma, and other challenging circumstances.

I help people recognise unhelpful patterns, set boundaries, and rebuild a stronger sense of self while addressing the underlying causes of distress. You don’t have to navigate this alone. Let’s work together towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Katherine Vines

Counsellor

Drawing on years of experience in nursing care, I have embraced the calling to support not just the body, but also the mind and soul. My heart is to offer a space of compassion, truth, and hope where healing and restoration can begin.

My counselling approach is Christ-centred and trauma-informed, drawing on evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), person-centred, psychodynamic, and attachment-based models. I tailor each session to reflect your individual journey, integrating clinical wisdom with spiritual understanding. I believe that true healing takes place when we tend to the whole person – mind, body, and spirit – reflecting the triune nature of our being, created in the image of God. Like a three-legged stool, each part must be cared for and strengthened; if even one leg is neglected or broken, the whole structure becomes unstable. In tending to each part, we build a strong and steady foundation – one that supports resilience, wholeness, and a life grounded in Christ. Whether you’re carrying emotional burdens, working through past experiences, or exploring questions of faith, I offer a safe and compassionate environment where you are heard,  supported, and encouraged toward meaningful growth and healing.
